What is your most popular wedding photography package?
Most couples need about 8-9 hours to cover all the key moments of the wedding day. If you are not to sure how much time you will need, we can sort out all the details together and see what package works for you. And if there isn't the perfect package, I am always happy to customize one that fits your day.
Will there be a second shooter?
I do tend to shoot solo. After doing weddings for over a decade now, I have become proficient at choosing the key spots and different lenses throughout the day to get many different angles. This means I can also guarantee consistency of quality and the variety of images you will receive. But I do know that for some couples, a second shooter is important to them and offers that extra peace of mind or there is itineraries that just make it hard for me to be in two places at once. If this is the case, we can always incorporate another photographer into the day!
What if I am at a loss when it comes to my schedule?
One of the things I am really good at is itineraries! I can help you no problem plan out your day from getting ready, to the ceremony, to family photos, to couples photos to the reception.
How do you light my reception?
Well!!!! I love off camera flash! I actually pride myself on my reception lighting. It isn't me simply taking photos at the reception. I put a lot of thought into my light placements and how I can create for you some pretty rad reception photos. This also allows me to be able to move freely around the room and capture more candid images from speeches to dancing.
What kind of gear do you use?
I am a Canon girl! I love the tones that Canon produces. I also use a mix of zoom lenses and primes lenses. My zoom lenses let me get in nice and close to create photos that have a more intimate feeling during the ceremony without having to interfere with guests or move around to much. While prime lenses let me get a bit more creative and artistic during the portrait part of the day.
How many images will I receive?
I love candid moments! So because of that, I don't have a specified number of images you will receive. I would never hold back moments from you. But as a general rule of thumb, I say you will receive about a hundred images per hour that I am shooting.
How will you deliver my images to me?
You will receive your very own password protected website. From there you can download your high resolution and web ready versions of your edited images. You can also create favourites lists and share with friends and family.
Are you vaccinated?
Who ever thought this would be a question that you might have to ask your vendors. But to get that question out of the way, yes I am!
